Here's a better analogy (and one that discloses the extremities of my nerdiness:)

Anarchy Online has a much truer connection to Obamacare than WoW.  It uses 10 year old code, is bloated to the point of regular inoperability, every time an upgrade is installed it required more downtime to patch whatever the previous patch, it's ugly and the management doesn't really listen to the concerns of its playerbase anymore.  Why should they?  The only ones who play AO are diehard fanatics who will have to be forcibly removed from the server kicking and screaming.

I don't know if anyone's been on Politico today, but the handful of post whoring OFA goons are especially bad today.  Just hogging the whole thread and being obnoxious, and also stupid.  Any mention of any of the well-known problems, such as prohibitive costs, backend systems not built, security, loss of doctor, hospital, they just say "LIE LIE LIE!!11  ALL LIES!  Give me a link to a credible source!!!  Give me your proof, teabagipublican."

I gave him a DailyKos link, for God's sake, but he planted his head firmly in the sand/up his ass.

Amazon had over 400 million hits this past weekend and it's still standing.

Obamacare is also NOT safe, and there is nothing they can do to keep it from being hacked.  It needs to be scrapped and started over.

What is this noob talking about?  WoW handled like 15 Million people at once and had a few hiccups.  ObamaControlYourLife.Gov couldn't handle a few thousand and I can almost bet the house that WoW didn't cost 1/3 of what ObamaControlYourLife.Gov to launch.
