Oilwellian buries son; puts grief aside long enough to slam Bush

Oilwellian (9,808 posts)

I buried my youngest son yesterday
He died in his sleep early Monday morning of what we suspect was a massive heart attack. He was only 29 and in, what we thought, good health. Autopsy report is not in yet, but everything points in that direction.

There are no words to express the depths of our sorrow. In a split second, our lives have changed forever.

There are no regrets for any unspoken words that we meant to share with each other, but never did. His last words to me were, "I love you, Mom," as he always said at the end of our conversations, and those words I will hold in my heart forever. He lived his life with such great integrity, and understood intensely the meaning of love for his family and friends. He was truly an old soul that taught me more about life than I was ever capable of teaching him. It's an honor to be known forever as his mother, and today we will be giving thanks for the profound joy he brought to our lives.

Rest in peace, my dear, sweet son. I love you too.

There are a few of you who may remember him. He joined some of us at the second major antiwar protest in D.C. during the Bush nightmare.

I know that if I suffered the incomprehensible loss of a child, I'd go online and slam Presidents.

I am sorry for your loss, Oilwellian, and you have my condolences. May you use this horrible event to learn to prioritize your thoughts and emotions.

Sorry, but I've lost loved ones in my life and I've NEVER posted the day after with all the details.

Second, people who are "seemingly in perfect health" don't die of heart attacks at the age of 29.  Trust me on this one.

No words to express, DUmmies?  Seems like you found quite a few.  So while my sympathies go out for your loss, the fact that you're grave-dancing on your own son's corpse before it's even cold is, to put it mildly, the depths of shitbaggery.

The guy was raised by a far-left DUmpmonkey mother.

Odds are overwhelming he would have been lifelong loser, though a few do survive such an upbringing.

In families like Dummy Oilwellian's, "massive heart attack at an early age" is a euphemism for "fatal overdose".

I don't understand sympathy for a woman so hateful and vicious that she'd use her son's death for a gratuitous slam at President Bush.

Maybe he had a previously undetected congenital heart defect. From time to time you read about a high school athlete dropping dead on the football field, or the basketball court, and it turns out that there was something wrong that no one had ever suspected. It happens. Even though my first reaction was to think "suicide," or "drug overdose," I'm willing to cut the Dummy some slack on this.

That said, the gratuitous slap at Bush was totally inappropriate.

That is possible, but every instance of that I've ever encountered occurred during or right after some major physical stress, physical trauma, or some extreme emotional shock.  I've never heard of anyone that young passing in their sleep from a congenital heart defect, though I suppose there could always be that one-in-a-million case.

Sadly, the odds heavily favor it being an OD or the DUmmie is just ying about the cause of death since ultimately everything can be labeled 'Heart failure' to avoid embarrassing truths.

It was an OD. The parent is a DUmmy. Oftentimes that itself is enough.

Uhhhhh....no.

In families like Dummy Oilwellian's, "massive heart attack at an early age" is a euphemism for "fatal overdose".

I would bet money on that.  So, invariably....

Blame Bush.  Yeah.

Amending previous comment.  Maybe it happens, but as DAT says, a congenital defect would show up in the circumstances he described.

But the odds of that versus the other possibilities make it a pretty remote one.

98Z--I base my statement on personal experience.  I'll just leave it at that.  Flame away if you wish.

If someone is this grief stricken, why would they post at DU?

Because they DUmmies need people to feel sorry for them.  They all have the Victim syndrome, hence they reason they get the major voting blocks of blacks, women, and gays.  Because they need to feel victimized and need someone to keep helping them feel victimized... the Democrat party.

If true, condolences to the Dummy.

My guess, if true, something cocaine related.
When you are the beneficiary of someone’s kindness and generosity, it produces a sense of gratitude and community.

When you are the beneficiary of a policy that steals from someone and gives it to you in return for your vote, it produces a sense of entitlement and dependency.

Okay, I just saw this thread, and it was a really weird reaction by Oilwellian, and the Bush comment was just unread.

The DUmmy's posting under HIS real surname and first name is George. He lives in Roanoke, VA and both O and one of his sons posted at the DUmp a few years ago with post after post blaming Bush. Can't find an obituary yet . . .

That I understand. Believe me, I do.

Agreed.

The "child" was 29 years old and already a drug-soaked moonbat "protestor".

I hope DUmmy Oilwellian never recovers from the grief, though I doubt a democrat moonbat can feel normal human emotions.
