Quote
HUNTINGTON BEACH (CBSLA.com) — Veterans are rallying around a local bar whose owners say they have been ordered to removed a sign that salutes their service.

“Thank a veteran for your freedom!” says a large sign perched above Johnny’s Booze and Pool. Vets love it and make up a significant part of the establishment’s clientele.

“I love this place. The sign gives me the pride back that I lost … I struggled a lot when I first came back,” an Army vet told CBS2′s Stacey Butler.

But someone complained to the city about the sign, and now the bar’s owners say they’ve been ordered to take it down.

It always one person who complains and garbage like this happens. I wonder if it a DUmmy by any chance.  :mental: :loser:

I would say the chances are a virtual certainty.  Things like this are why I'll never set foot in CA again and will make my best effort not to spend a dime there.  The state is crawling with O'bummers "little monsters" (stolen from the comments).  This country needs a good enema and I know where to stick the tube.

I think I've been there.  Little hole-in-the-wall place just off Beach Blvd, just south of Warner Ave.

(I used to live near corner of Warner/Magnolia, about a mile away, give or take.)

Small world.

But BD, this IS Orange County, aka an island of conservative sanity in a sea of idiot liberalism.  Some douchetool got a little butthurt and decided to make a scene.

In a perfect world, that person would have been given a nice steaming bowl of STFU, but meh.  I'd like to think they'll get theirs eventually.
