And so, my fellow Americans: ask not what your country can do for you — ask what you can do for your country.

Kennedy's Inaugural Address, January 20, 1961

FUnny, not one mention of one of his most famous line in all of the threads at the DUmp.

Wonder why.
My Old Man was a Chicago Republican until the day he died.

Then he became a democrat.

Because I think that deep down in side they realize that their values have more in common with those of Kim Jong Un than with John F. Kennedy's.

In other words, he would be Ted Cruz's running mate.
DUmpmonkies should think about that.
Then-Chief Justice John Marshall observed, “Between a balanced republic and a democracy, the difference is like that between order and chaos.”

John Adams warned in a letter, “Remember democracy never lasts long. It soon wastes, exhausts, and murders itself. There never was a democracy yet, that did not commit suicide.”

Healthcare is a basic human right.
US citizenship given to illegal aliens is a basic human right.
An education to any degree or multiple degrees is a basic human right.
A living wage regardless of value worker returns to company is a basic human right.
A middle class standard of living is a basic human right.
Occupy anything is a basic human right.
Unlimited children with unlimited food stamps while on welfare is a basic human right.
Not paying any taxes whatsoever and getting to vote without ID is a basic human right.
Unlimited abortions at taxpayers expense is a basic human right.
No drug testing for welfare recipients is a basic human right.
Caustic hyperbolic, treasonous and inciteful speech is a basic human right, unless you are conservative and accused of it.
Race baiting is a basic human right.
Giving people these rights, granted to them by government is what your country did for you.

They are only idealizing him because he was a Democrat.  If Kennedy came back to life today, he would take one look at them and defect.

It's been years, but I still remember it, as this is a hypocrisy of the primitives dear to my heart.

One time a primitive lit a campfire saying that quote is outdated and didn't hold any more, and that it was perfectly okay to demand things from one's country without giving too.

Another one the primitives seem to forget is ".....bear any burden, pay any price, so that others may enjoy the blessings and fruits of liberty....."

They certainly weren't remembering that in March 2003.

It's both funny and pathetic, how the primitives idolize a man they don't pay attention to.

Funny how time has a habit of slipping away.  But I digress.  I was going to post earlier that the DUmmies get real confused about the whole Liberal Kennedy, Conservative Nixon thing and really begin tearing their hair out when you throw in anti-communism, McCarthyism, Robert Kennedy, and the mob.  There are a more than a few threads that have been broomed at the DUmp over the years when 'apparent moles/trolls' brought up inconvenient truths.  It's a shame really, but then, why would your average liberal/progressive want to be involved with facts and truth if it doesn't fit the narrative? Dummies, largely a product of public education, only know what they are told to believe.  Independent thought never enters the closed eco-system they call their brain.  It is not so much that they lie Coach, it really is that they just don't know no better.

The DUchebags don't think for themselves. They only do what they are told and think what they think because they are told to. They have no capability of original thinking and therefore do as they are told. They are told to idolize JFK for political reasons so they comply without question.

The average IQ and intellectual curiosity of a leftist is in the lower three sigma. They think they are smart and are therefore very easy to fool and control. They are good little drones and are going to be very surprised when their masters turn on them just like the stupid people of Germany and Russia.

And so, my fellow Americans: ask not what your country can do for you —

Ask what you can do for your country.

My fellow citizens of the world: ask not what America will do for you, but what together we can do for the freedom of man.

Finally, whether you are citizens of America or citizens of the world, ask of us the same high standards of strength and sacrifice which we ask of you. With a good conscience our only sure reward, with history the final judge of our deeds, let us go forth to lead the land we love, asking His blessing and His help, but knowing that here on earth God's work must truly be our own.

Here is that quote updated for liberals in 2013:

Quote
"Ask not what your country can do for you, ask what you can do for your country."

Ask yourself, 'what BFEE outrage can I blog about to serve the country?'

Ask yourself, 'am I sucking enough government teat to create economic wellbeing for the country?'

Ask yourself, 'have I posted enough on liberal websites to truly advance the country?'

Ask yourself, 'have I photoshopped enough pictures of John Boehner to help the country?'

Ask yourself, 'have I invented enough racial outrage to advance the interests of the country?'

What do you think is a greater sin to the moochers on the DUmp?

1. Being qualified for government handout and not taking it.

OR

2. Not being qualified for a government handout but lying to take it.

I clearly recall 03A3 Springfields, described as new in cosmoline, available for mail order through the NRA magazine for $9.95, and Garands, also new in cosmoline, for I believe $29.95.

This would have been late 50s or early 60s. They were sold through the Civilian Marksmanship Program and you just had to clip out a little coupon from the magazine, fill in your name and address, and enclose a check.

As a kid at the time I thought they were the ugliest weapons I'd ever seen, and wouldn't have taken one if it was free.

If asked, DUmmies would simply redefine what Kennedy meant by that. There's nothing they love better than trying to twist the true meaning of words and phrases. They'd say that calling for redistribution of wealth, higher taxes and bigger entitlement programs is dong something for their country, when it's their own shiftless asses they're looking out for. Remember, according to their mantra, when one votes for "their own best interests", that is the most virtuous thing.

Despite all their lip service paid to "helping the downtrodden", I've never seen anything from from 99.99% of DUers that indicates they are about anything more than lining their own dirty little pockets with someone else's money, exercising their sexual perversions consequence-free, unfettered access to drugs, and working out their hateful sense of being losers by punishing everyone more successful in life than them.

I vote for my own best interest. I imagine you do, too.

The difference between us and the Proglodytes, is that we define "best interest" as adults. Progs have the minds of selfish and jealous children, so "gimme" is the first word that pops into their heads or out of their mouths.
