Operation Toy Drop
« on: November 22, 2013, 03:06:54 PM »
I noticed Big Dog's post about Toys for Tots, and figured I would add this post as well.

You always hear about Toys For Tots, and while I have nothing against my Marine brothers, the army does it's part as well.

Operation Toy Drop
Toy Drop

For those not familiar with it, the Randy Oler Memorial Toy Drop is out of Fort Bragg, NC. Soldiers from all over Fort Bragg bring toys for the chance to jump with representatives from foreign nations. Operation Toy Drop gathers over 20,000 toys annually to be distributed to aid agencies in the local area. As a participant of past Toy Drops (and hoping to get on this one), I can attest that the organization is a great cause that benefits the community.

“The best things in life are beyond money; their price is agony and sweat and devotion ... and the price demanded for the most precious of all things in life is life itself - ultimate cost for perfect value.”
