50 years ago we lost Camalot and a lot more

The US would be so much better today if we had enjoyed 8 years of JFK!

I do so wish that if the DUmmies insist on telling us they are smarter than we are that they would learn to use spell check.
This too shall pass.

50 years from Camalot to Camaloot.

**** you, Steve Dawes. The Camelot myth was a posthumous media creation. I don't recall Le Mort d'Arthur saying anything about the king screwing all the serving wenches and barnyard animals, subsisting on morphine pills, or trying to assassinate the king of France with a poisoned cigar.

JFK was in office, less than three years.
The neckbeard attempting to project greatness for a mediocre presidency is silly.
JFK was not a great president. He was so-so. Better than some, worse than others.
He is lionized and glorified for one reason...his murder.
Then-Chief Justice John Marshall observed, “Between a balanced republic and a democracy, the difference is like that between order and chaos.”

John Adams warned in a letter, “Remember democracy never lasts long. It soon wastes, exhausts, and murders itself. There never was a democracy yet, that did not commit suicide.”

Seeing as it was JFK, maybe Cumalot is more appropriate.

For some reason, my city is supposed to prostrate itself before the world and apologize for killing Johnny... cause Oswald was a Tea Partier and the rightwing hate of Dallas caused him to do it. :whatever:

It's too bad that five years ago, America lost a Hell of a lot more.

1) Camelot was a myth put forward by Jackie after the assassination.  I can't blame her for wanting to ensure her husband's legacy, but without the assassination, "Camelot" goes away.

2) I'm glad they suddenly appreciate a president who cut taxes and stood for a strong national defense.

There is no way JFK would even be allowed in the Dem party today.  He was pro life, pro military, anti communist, and lowered taxes to boost the economy.

I wonder what Kennedy would think about those with their hands out.

Obama Steve suffers from: a little problem with facts; ignorance; or, he is just plain fence post DUmb and mean spirited.  I ran across another post from this moran several days back bashing the Salvation Army.  Sadly, many of the LGBT 'ute who might have been helped will read his drivel and not avail themselves of the Sally's assistance (unlike Amber alert).  Steve you ignorant pig, I hope you feel good knowing some poor confused kid won't get the help they need because of you.  Go take a peek at Isaiah 5:20.

For what it is worth, I bet they all liked the part of Chris Mathew's book on Kennedy where he tells about JFK nailing a virgin in the Whitehouse on Jackie's bed. His Monica moment if you will.  Stay classy Democratics, stay classy.  Worship your false Gods.

If JFK was so great, why do the Proggies observe his death, but not his birth? Why do they ignore the fact that he cut taxes?

I agree that JFK was just a so-so president, and one who deserted Cuban freedom fighters at the Bay of Pigs.

President John F. Kennedy was shot by an avowed Communist, Lee Harvey Oswald.

Captain J.W. Fritz: Are you a communist?
Oswald: No, I am not a communist. I am a Marxist.

Oswald wanted to represented by John Abt, a Communist Party Lawyer or ACLU.

He also came out and owned up to the bay of pigs disaster.  Unlike someone else we know who blames everyone else.

The liberal media and the JFK lie

John F. Kennedy was a supply-side, tax-cutting president who was hawkish abroad and was murdered by a communist who had previously defected to the Soviet Union. But don’t be alarmed if that comes as a surprise — a lot of people haven’t heard that. Because the myth of JFK — liberal icon, victim of racist, right-wing America — is a veritable gospel of elite history, and a damn useful weapon against the rest of us.

Good one!

You know, the guy on the left side of the photograph, handcuffed to the socialist, apparently became famous enough that he's in wikipedia; I saw it once, but forgot his name.
