The kerflunkle of the bow knot
« on: November 19, 2013, 06:09:40 PM »
I have problem.

When I'm at home I tend to wear shorts that have a drawstring.

Roughly 20% of the time (no, I haven't done a study) when I go to release the bow knot it turns into a real knot. Often it leaves me standing before the  throne struggling to untie the new knot.

Is there some other knot I should be using?

Get shorts with elastic instead of a draw string.

Granny knot suspenders.
There were only two options for gender. At last count there are at least 12, according to libs. By that standard, I'm a male lesbian.

What does he have in his bandolier?  Six extra bullets and a Bic pen?

Yup. Never knew when he'd have to sign an autograph. He is Sean Connery, after all.

I'll bet he'd like to forget that movie.

Oh, you want a slip knot.

Tie an overhand knot....now tie a second overhand knot pulling one side of it up to form a single loop. When you want to undo things just pull the short end of the loop string.

Let me guess, you're not circumcised and you once got the foreskin caught in your zipper.....don't ask how I know about such things.....the memories are to painful :argh:.

You should wind up with a square knot with the loops pulled out on either side.

But there apparently are 18 versions of this knot, so experiment away!
