Congress should take the name 'single payer' and just rename it 'Reagancare'

Like bots all the teafolk will vote for it, they wont even know what the hell it is. We already know that if you take something people are opposed to, call it something else .... 'rich'...'job creator'... people are more open to it. Especially those less mentally gifted on the right.


Let the GOP own that as their alternative to obamacare and let them pass it. The rubes out there won't know any different. Once its passed maybe a few of them will realize its actual socialized medicine but I doubt it.

This reminds me of all the bellyaching over the "jobs bills" the evil repukes blocked. They are stupid enough to think just because jobs is the name of the bill, it will create jobs. If Reagancare was like Reganomics, then health care would be nearly fully privatized, and the poorest people would be subsidized with better care from a consortium of health care providers far more efficiently than the current spate of crappy "free" clinics and whatnot.
