I know what you are referring to Sparky, and have wondered why there were just a few mentions of the case then a black out on the news of the repercussions.
I have seen no mention of hundreds of cases dropped or dozens of men and woman let out of jail after being convicted on just the DNA or drug tests evidence.
Recently a grand child told me they want to work with the State Police in their DNA labs that test animals for a match in a case involving them in a crime. I got interested and did some checking up and found to my surprise the large network involved with animal DNA especially in the western states where prize and expensive horses, cattle and show dogs are raised. That and looking for drugs in their system.
Then the sperm banks used for breeding and this is not cheap but easier than transporting an animal about to do it the normal way.
What bothers me is this female not only tested for drugs but also filled in for workers out on leave in the human DNA sections and what havoc she may have caused there also.
My dream job would to become a Hostess on a huge Cruise Ship, a welcome and greeter, and plan the days activities. Not an easy job but what fun to meet the Vip's and the entertainers and just the everyday people that can afford $2,500 per person for a 2 week sail.
