So, I signed up fro cACA as a single man in my mid thirties. Which is sort of true. I also signed up with no income. Which is sorta true right now.

As you can see I get no "Premium tax credit" and I "get" to pay $289.32.
So, basically the Dems argument was there was 45 Million uninsured Americans. I didn't do the exact math but that is like 13% of the population. I would guess that probably half of those didn't give a shit about having insurance probably young and healthy early 20's to 30's without families. So lets say the other 6.5% really do want insurance. Do you think any of them want to pay nearly $300.00 a month or even can pay that?
This is the silver plan with $10 office visits. Some of the other plans are 20% or 40% coinsurance meaning that you pay the full deductible which is likely $5000 grand then pay 20% or 40% after the deductible. Who can afford that that already probably doesn't have insurance?
Low income families already get Medicaid for the children in most all states right? So they are covered...
If the people wanted insurance before this they could have gone to eHealthinsurance.com and got the same coverage for almost the same price if not less because of all the crap your required to get now.
So why didn't the government just start an Ad Campaign for those people or something? Why **** up the whole system to help less than 10% of the population? Because we know this, meaning the ACA, isn't what they wanted and not the main objective. A single payer national healthcare system is. **** you Democrats.
Also a side note. I am going to cancel this enrollment, but I got my letter from Blue Cross. My coverage will not start until I pay the premium and will be cancelled if I don't. I am saying that to say you can probably cut in half the sign up numbers that Obama and his Administration give in the coming week because half of those that signed up if not more will not pay because they were screwing around like I was or because they can't afford it.
