Funny, but in the MANY places I've lived, there has NEVER been a DMV inside a county courthouse building.

Can anyone else help me with that?

I'm guessing the more likely scenario is that the DUmmie was in court for a DUI or other offense that resulted in his license being suspended or revoked--THAT I can believe.

When I first started reading this post I thought "Oh, Skid is going to renew her carry permit". Then of course I remembered where I was.

What's most amazing to the libs is that someone paid their own families heathcare themselves ! Unfathomable.
There were only two options for gender. At last count there are at least 12, according to libs. By that standard, I'm a male lesbian.

Ours is in the courthouse, and open every Thursday from 1 p.m. until 4 p.m.

There's never a line, and the guy's usually idly doing crossword puzzles.

For a while there were huge lines here in red state hell. Long lines would form hours before opening time.

mexican entrepreneurs were bringing in thousands of illegals from all over the Southeast, charging them huge fees for transportation and a driver's license.

The last of the red state democrat governors was selling licenses to illegal mexicans, hoping they would stay and vote.

He had presidential aspirations, and saw it as a way to gain mexican votes, but his star sputtered and went dark shortly afterward.

It was awful, but it accelerated the avalanche of Republican winning candidates who took over and corrected the travesty.

Now we do license renewals online, so no one knows who's getting them.

Did you not read what I wrote, or was the smoke from the hippie lettuce you were getting hammered on make it too difficult to see what was on your screen?

I know quite well where the DMV office on Dover Point is located.  And FYI, no court anywhere near it.

I also know where the DMV is in Epping, and where it used to be in Rochester before they closed it.

No courts in any of them.

Nor in any of the DMV's I went to in California, Idaho, New Mexico, Colorado, Florida, or any other state in which I was licensed or resided in.

While there have been a few places that do combine municipal/county/state facilities, these seem to be the exception, not the rule.

Except for your lack of comprehension...THAT is an unyielding law, much like gravity.

Johnson County is one of, if not the most liberal in the state of Iowa.  Home of the University of Iowa.  Also one of the largest counties, and certainly not mostly rural.

Something is very wrong here.
