A friend of Sandy Lertzman discovered her body inside the garage of her Moreland Hills home on Monday. The engine of the car was still running.

Friends of the 62-year-old mother, who had dedicated her life to saving animals, believe she killed the dogs out of concern for their future.

An animal rights person kills dogs out of their concern and commits suicide. Sounds like animal cruelty to me. :mental:

Animal rights activists are about control, not the welfare of animals.  This gal couldn't guarantee she'd be able to maintain control of all the animals she had, so she decides this for herself and them.
