Teacher accused of having sex with 8 pupils on school baseball team faces jail

A teacher has been accused of having sex with eight members of a school baseball team.

Julie Pritchett began a relationship with a 15-year-old boy in February. The 34-year-old married teacher later approached other members of the team for sex.

The incidents allegedly took place both on school premises and at the boys' homes while their parents were out.


She was discovered when one of the 15-year-old boys at the school, in the town of Trussville,  Alabama, told his parents. They alerted the police.


Pritchett, who taught at Clay-Chalkville Middle School, has been charged with two counts of sedomy and one count of sexual abuse.

Some of the boys involved are over the age of consent and are not co-operating with police.

Police spokesman Sgt Christian said: 'It sounds like she has some serious issues to work through, but that will never excuse what she has done.'

At this rate there will barely be a boy in a US school who hasn't at least been propositioned by a female teacher.  :(

I don't know.   They aren't talking about evidence.   If the only evidence is the boys' claims then I would withhold judgment.

I think it is equally possible that a group of boys would make up something like this, especially with all the other teachers in the news.

I know that if I was a teacher, I would never, ever be alone with any student or even any small group (2 or 3) of students.

I can only think of one teacher in my high school that I would have done that with.  Economics and sociology teacher.  Everyone else was in that 50+ bracket.

Holy Crap! She's kinda a big'un! But 15 year old boys are not known to be too particular about sex! :-) That being said get ready for the old double standard, dollars to donuts she doesn't do anywhere near the time a man would do for molesting a girl of the same age. :banghead:
