Alright Skinner, you win, you crafty bastard...

...I got an e-mail the other day reminding me that my days as a star member were numbered..."yeah, yeah", I thought, "so what?..I'm sure I can handle a few ads in my feed", said I to myself...

Lo and behold, I logged on this morning and got another e-mail...very polite mind you, reminding me of my ex-star status and pointing out the benefits of throwing him a few ducats to keep this place running......"yeah, yeah", I thought, "so what?..I'm sure I can handle a few ads in my feed", said I to myself...

Well, I'm here to tell you I didn't make it to the second sentence of the very first post I read this morning before the ads became so annoying I simply HAD to get my star back...

So, Skinner, you crafty old sod...you win....

(Oh, I would have re-upped at some point anyway, because despite the occasional turmoil I love this place...but damn...those ads are annoying!!)

Cheers!

2. sod? bastard?

gee, i hope y'all are familiars with each other.

certainly on the rude side to call someone a bastard or a sod.

wow, just wow.

Just a reminder that nutcase nadin, a trained journo, still has not figured out the difference between "add" and "ad":

11. That is what add block is for

And I pretty much got used to them on the IPad after a couple weeks.

Regardless, add block is a good idea for all those pop adds everywhere.

Need to get that extension on hubbies computer

As she reminds the DUmp frequently, nadin isn't just a journo, she's an "award-wining" journo.

As for the award she "wined", it's interesting to go to the San Diego Press Club's site.

The members of this outfit, consisting only of media outlets in the city, presented themselves with over 400 awards this year!

In the liberal tradition, no one goes away a loser. Everyone is a "winer".

Nutcase nadin "wined" an award for her article on how wind turbines cause cancer and fling fractured blades over a mile.

Had she written about chemtrails, she could have "wined" a bushel of awards.

Here trubutt is sucking up to Skinter and another rips it for it's language. They all want so bad to be in the kewel kids group.  Except the award winning journo who still has ethical standards.

Add Block?  You mean Ad Block.

We all know you have add block turned on nads; we've seen your math skills.

Suffice it to say you are bullying her.
I may not lock my doors while sitting at a red light and a black man is near, but I sure as hell grab on tight to my wallet when any democrats are close by.

The world's second smartest and most accomplished person in the history (you know who is 1st) of the universe should know:

add=shorthand for addition
ad=shorthand for advertisement.

I'm not sure who is worst, Obama or nadin.

BTW, I 've never known when to use who or whom because I are engineer and can deal with tensors.
When you are the beneficiary of someone’s kindness and generosity, it produces a sense of gratitude and community.

When you are the beneficiary of a policy that steals from someone and gives it to you in return for your vote, it produces a sense of entitlement and dependency.

Firefox with No Script is free, DUmbasses and their money are soon parted, $kinner gets his money for nothin' and he chicks for free.
"We make men without chests and expect of them virtue and enterprise. We laugh at honor and are shocked to find traitors in our midst. We castrate and then bid the geldings to be fruitful."

C.S. Lewis

A community may possess all the necessary moral qualifications, in so high a degree, as to be capable of self-government under the most adverse circumstances; while, on the other hand, another may be so sunk in ignorance and vice, as to be incapable of forming a conception of liberty, or of living, even when most favored by circumstances, under any other than an absolute and despotic government.

John C Calhoun, "Disquisition on Government", 1840
