9. It may be a RW talking point but, this time, it's true.

This seems to be happening mostly to those, like me, with an individual policy (self-employed.) Blue Cross cancelled my plan and will move me to another on 1/1, although I'm free to go elsewhere. Their new plan is the same type as my old in that is has the highest deductible with no coverage for prescriptions, dental or vision. It has no additional coverage or benefits, at least none that I need or want. In fact, it's worse in that I will have to pay the entire cost of my annual routine doctor visit instead of the $35 copay I am now paying. Yet the premium will be double, amounting to several hundred dollars extra every month. The state exchange's offerings are about the same rate or higher.

So, yes, Obama's statements were lies at least as it relates to the individual market.

what an individual or family does with what government does, is just plain silly.

There is something to be said for ascertaining that a big claim that is being made repeatedly to the American public is accurate. Or hedge your claim. Bad media coverage IS something that ALL politicians know is a reality. Trying to avoid potential bad publicity traps is an intrinsic part of effective communication and pretty basic.

Well, it's like this. Your Pizza parable would make sense if you said, Barry says you have to buy pizza or be fined by the government, but you can eat at your favorate pizza place. Period. THEN- Barry's Health Service re-writes the health code that forces all the independant pizza places to shut down- FORCING you to buy Pizza only at Barry's friend's place- who charges 400% higher prices...

and I don't think he was purposefully trying to deceive. He made a promise he was unable to keep. Politicians do that all the time.

But I believe when he said those remarks, he actually believed it.

What if I told you, Bush believed that Saddam was in fact working on weapons of mass destruction? I don't recall you being that generous to him, in fact you made up lies claiming that Bush himself had made up the WMD story.

The reality is, it is possible that 0bama really wasn't aware that he was lying. People make the assumption that he has a clue what is in the bill. He was like the rest of us it had to be passed so we could see what was in it.

Regardless of whether he knew he was lying, he was telling lies. His handlers told him what to say, he went out and said it and in a sane world he would be held accountable for doing it. This is not a sane world, 0bama is never held accountable for anything and always denies knowledge of anything major going on, and he gets away with it.

It seems like those who are vehement on either side of ACA are guilty of this... This 'cheerleading' or whatever we want to call it. It has gotten to a fever pitch among both those for and against.

The DUmmies that are against Obamacare are more angry than conservatives are since they feel that they have been betrayed by their Chicago boyfriend--and democrats feel things so very deeply.  Conservatives don't feel betrayed.  We saw this coming.  We never believed a word that came out of Barry's lying mouth.  Why should we feel betrayed?  But the DUmmies that are starting to wise up feel a deep sense of betrayal.  And on top of that, the DUmmies--who fancy themselves as being so very smart--were so completely fooled by Barry's lies while the conservatives--who are supposed to be so stupid--saw right through Obama's dirty lies.  I can hardly imagine the level of rage building up in the democrat rank and file over being betrayed by Sir Golfsalot and outsmarted by the conservatives.

The DUmmies used to so gleefully poke fun at this guy.

Really dummie? 3 to 5 percent?  I think 93 million is a tad bit more than 3-5 percent. More like 25 or 30 percent. Oh and the obumbles admin officials knew about it in 2010.

This only scratches the surface of what will be a compounding debacle.
How many of those employers will be sticker shocked into dropping coverage for replacement,compliant plans?
Or will decide it is a "win win" as an employee on a plan does not qualify for the welfare subsidy but on their own would.

Combine that with all the new Medicaid recipients who now suddenly have "free" healthcare and a glut of welfare payments as subsidies the budget debt could explode beyond anyones imagination and almost instantly.

Huckabee had three on his show last night.  One left her practice to do something different.  She said she had to book patients every ten minutes and she still couldn't stay in business.

They all complained that medicare and medicaid doesn't pay enough and that their codeing is confusing, complicated and nothing like what insurance companies use.  They also said that the codeing for Obamacare is even different and will add a whole new layer to their paperwork nightmare.  They all said that they spend almost a third of their working time on the administrative compliance end and Obamacare is only going to add to that.  Sounds like this will certainly push doctors out of private practice.
