5. Why I'm putting you on ignore

Calls for the locals to pick up the pitchforks and burning torches to chase a stranger out of town is frankly, asinine and absolute BS.

If you are such an insecure individual that you can't have anyone disagree with you for any reason without calling on the locals to storm the ramparts to get the heretic, then frankly, you can have nothing to say worth reading.

But crap like this is rather juvenile, IMO.

Man, wish I could have read what he posted.

I do love the truths that come out in these instances.

He was apparently trying to round up a posse to chase off newbie Poddy Fries in this thread,

http://www.democraticunderground.com/10023959192

I'm sure Steve is taking this rejection very hard and I expect him to post a blubbering apology thread later today.

Just read over it. I suspect you're right.  :-)

John Adams warned in a letter, “Remember democracy never lasts long. It soon wastes, exhausts, and murders itself. There never was a democracy yet, that did not commit suicide.”

It would appear Steve is a little out of sorts lately.  Best I can figure is he is looking at a rather gloomy retirement picture.  There are a few lightly attended fires he has started over there about the declining fortune of Omaha civilian pensioners (looks like the cops and fire men are made men).  Look for the union label in this as well as they are greasing the skids.    :thatsright:

Yeah, it's big news, about those pensions.

I'll bet the big guy's really worried.

The Democrat mayors of Omaha gave away the farm when it came to city pensions, and now the piper's coming a' callin'.

What's the story behind this?  Is Steve's pension at risk of being unpaid?

I don't like to see anyone suffer but lets face it people have to realize if a deal sounds too good to be true it probable is.  Unions have been extorting exorbitant compensation packages and bilking members for years. The unions chickens are coming home to roost.  Glib talking union bosses have strung along the true believers for years " They will just have to come up with it" Don't worry."  Guess what union DUmmies, "Worry."  The money is not there and it is not going to magically appear.  Dinner is served.  TTFN :bolt:

It's running a very real risk of not being all he hopes it to be.

In eight years, when the big guy retires, maybe pocket money.

But it's his own damned fault; the big guy supported all the Democrat mayors who gave away what wasn't theirs to give away.

Too bad for the big guy.

Steve's story is starting to sound like it may have shades of the NNNOLHI primitive in it:

My sources tell me that DUmmy newbie Poddy Fries is the older brother of DUmmy barbtries. Apparently Barb is depressed because she cannot think of anyting to post about and is considering a position at WalMart. Big bro Poddy is trying to inspire little sis and encourage her to stay on the farm (ie: McDonalds).

If such an apology is issued, it won't be until the big guy returns to work so he can use the computer there.  He has to occupy his time at "work" somehow, might as well be nadining for union articles to cut/paste and making hit and run posts with the DUmmies.
This too shall pass.

93. Hello- Holden's mom here

I am certainly amazed at all the posts. I feel that the general population has no idea what hunting is about. First and foremost we have never and I am talking about my family, killed and not eaten what we kill. We have eaten mountain lion, deer, pheasant, turkey and fish. Concerns at being ethical should be directed much more to the food industry in which I assume most people on this thread shop. Please do the research on where and how you get your meat- beef, chicken and turkey and don't forget your milk ,eggs and cheese. The conditions of those poor animals should be a topic for you.

As far as my son is concerned keep in mind that he remains a minor CHILD. This means that all the negative comments directed toward him and his hunt are being said to a CHILD. With that said what kind of person responds with negative feedback and such immature comments as I believe I just read one which stated he was going to drape the pelt on his penis??? really??? I guess it is easy to hide behind the keyboard and judge everyone else without the conviction to actually address a grown-up with such childish comments.

Finally, no last I checked hunting does not cure brain cancer. As I have watched my son have about 20 seizures a day, laying in ICU crying in pain, being told what limited options we have for a treatment and praying every night to GOD to take me instead I don't feel anyone has the right to bring up his illness in such a cheap loose lipped comment.

I am more than happy to help educate anyone who is misguided on hunting or brain cancer and please direct your comments to me at brucefamily6@gmail.com and leave the children out of the adult conversations- I shouldn't even have to say that= talk about a world falling to pieces!!
