Speculation has swirled since the sputtering start of Obamacare that the Health and Human Services secretary would take the fall—and that the only reason the president hadn't yet swung the ax was a pragmatic one: Any replacement could be held up by Senate Republicans as the health care law is re-litigated ad infinitum. But that isn't the case. Those close to the president say that Obama hasn't even thought about dumping Sebelius. "He is interested in solutions, not scapegoats," says top advisor Valerie Jarrett.

Chalk part of it up to the hands-off approach Obama takes when it comes to his Cabinet and a self-preserving one favored by Sebelius's. Throw in a mutual affection that's just strong enough to keep them bound together, mix in their shared love of basketball, and it's a formula for survival. "She has reminded the president that she made the varsity team in college," jokes Sebelius's brother Donald Gilligan.

I have never seen so much corruptions and crooks in the White House. This makes Nixon White House look like saints. Nixon got in trouble because of the cover up. If Kathleen Sebelius had any honor and dignity, she should resign.

One thing that I've noticed about the first Affirmative Action president. He has been more than willing to nominate or place women into high positions.  However, most of those women are as incompetent as Obama is.

She should be gone as soon as possible. I think the costs for the site were in the hundreds of millions. I work online and know how much that
type of thing should cost. This is an unbelieveable example of gov't. waste and overspending.

They love to spend money when they didnt earn it!

It's much simpler than the article indicates.  He won't fire her because he appointed her, and firing her would reflect directly on him for hiring her in the first place.  He would accept her resignation, but like most Libs including The Big Cheese himself, she can't admit that she did anything wrong and so it would never occur to her to submit it.

It's not a matter IMO of them admitting they've done anything wrong...I'm slowly coming to the realization that they don't believe anything is wrong with how the system is going.  Glitchyness and all.

Especially since it won't ever affect their healthcare or medical treatment.

Yeah, but it's really just about the same thing.  Neither one of the idiots thinks he or she did anything wrong, because they are living in an alternate reality, and living like they had a writ from Cardinal Richelieu to back them up.

Oh they know how bad it is.  If this happened to a Republican, you can bet they would be all over this.  There is no way a lib is ever going to sincerely admit they were wrong.  They just come out with more smoke and mirrors and try to turn it around on the Republicans.

Unfortunately, half the public and even some R's buy into it every time.

She isnt going anywhere.  Obama thinks she is serving as a buffer, she isnt, for the outrage. 

He also realizes that whoever he nominated would have to be confirmed, and he cant have that fight right now.  Not only would it be massive, but it would force them to answer questions on Obamacare.

Gang, I want her to stay on.  Why?  It reinforces the notion that this is Amateur Decade at 1600 Pennsylvania Avenue.  That their arrogance--and that of the entire Democrat Party--knows no bounds.  That will ripple through most of the country, from Town Councils to (hopefully, in 2016) the White House.
