I'm sure if they could figure out a way to ban American war vets they would.
Been there done that, years ago when Nam ended and the injured returned home to be called Baby Killers, refused jobs and those that survived intact from the war became outcasts in some communities.
Think of it, back then we had the draft, kids at 18 scooped up from their lives before they could even buy a beer dumped into the middle of a strange land where they saw things that were not shown on the home news as being too horrific for the country to see.
Today these men that survived are 65-70 years old, they watch as the all Volunteer Force come home from a war they choose to participate in broken in mind, body and spirit.
What to say here, one can be the lowest of the lowlife but they call the police when they need them to save their lives. Do they now like the cops, heck no, they are still their enemy.
Same with our Military, we depend on them for National protection yet when they do their job they are vilified as they risk their lives to respond to any of what our President feels is a threat anywhere in the world.
Very strange thinking, sort of like when the Calvary was called to rescue a wagon train from an Indian attack, the Army was sued for the loss of live stock in the battle.
