any ideas who this zombie might be? This DUmmie only has 70 some odd posts but knows the ins and outs of DU and is jumping up and down on dkf's grave like a mad harpy. Then MADim calls it out.

You look like you showed up last month on your profile, thanks to transparency that is DU3. When you start talking like an old schooler with a profile that is a month old, it sets off alarms. The default thought is "sock using the wrong persona," frankly--we've seen enough of that in election years past.

Skinner has said that people can abandon their old usernames and start anew, but most people who do that let others know. I wouldn't blame anyone who had, as a username something that , say, was cheering on John "What a disappointment" Edwards for wanting to change their name one bit. Other usernames just are dated, and don't wear well over time. Some folks are loath to abandon their post count, but others don't care.

Who the heck would pay good money to troll a site whose members don't amount to a fart in a whirlwind in the grand scheme of political things?

Especially since there are so many of us out there doing it for free on a daily basis.

After nearly six years, the primitives are on to us.

Ten or twelve "guests" in the DUmpster used to be the "norm," but now it's circa 30-40, and a couple of times it's approached a hunded, 96 or something like that.

I seem to recall there was talk of making The DUmpster private at one time, even if only temporarily.

Maybe with the threat of being completely locked out of The DUmpster hung over their heads, they might limit their visits to a level amicable for both parties- the observed, and the observers.

I am not sure why they get so uptight over this minuscule speck of Internet dust that we are.
CU still has a DUmp forum,FR,which is huge has PJs/Charles DUmmie FUnnies every day...why are they so paranoid with CC?

Oh, they claim what we say doesn't bother them. They've claimed that since they've figured out they can't stop us from pointing and laughing. But it does.

I remember when we first started this over at CU several DUmmies said they were going to crash our site. How many of you remember "Rationality?"

Skinner has begged them to ignore us. They're too immature to do that.

They want this forum to go away. The solution for that to happen has always been the same: Quit saying stupid things and we'll quit laughing at how stupid you are. They can't, so we don't.
