It seems gNads, or one of her bootlickers, alerted on one of Pinto's comments.
Pinto rubbed their nose in it.  :lmao:

44. ^^ Jury voted 0-6 to LEAVE IT ^^
Then-Chief Justice John Marshall observed, “Between a balanced republic and a democracy, the difference is like that between order and chaos.”

John Adams warned in a letter, “Remember democracy never lasts long. It soon wastes, exhausts, and murders itself. There never was a democracy yet, that did not commit suicide.”

I, for one, did find the traffic update helpful and want to think nads for it. As I was driving around yesterday afternoon, I knew to completely avoid that intersection. Just to play it safe, I completely avoided the State of California. Thanks nads!

does not make you the victim of bullying.

calling you on your crap is not bullying

Exactly.  People/kids are victims of bullying if they are just because of the way they look and act. You purposely go out of your way to make yourself feel important.   You ask for everything that is given to you.  It's a shame that you do not learn from the exact same thing every time.

Hell. You avoided anything west of the Mississippi River. Borderline west of the Appalachians.

Maybe gNads should changed her screen name to "This message was self-deleted by its author" what's up with her deleting all her comments in a thread? She seems to throw a tantrum and do this quite often.

5. According to NBC - 805 and 15 are closed

before anyone screams why is this in GD - the 805 and 15 both end at the busiest border crossing in the world. It effect way more than San Diego

I don't think this DUmmie has ever been to San Diego. 15 doesn't end at any border crossing.

Is there anywhere on earth, outside of Southern California, where people add "the" to the route number of a highway?

It sounds DUmber than people here in red state hell who are "fixin'" to do something.

Correctamundo!  It ends at Jack Murphy Stadium (I-8).

I-5, OTOH...but then again, I didn't need to go to Mexico much.

I hear it quite a bit here when it's referred to as "The I-93 or I-95 corridors" but not so much as a destination like one expects in LA, like the San Diego Freeway versus I-405 South, or the Riverside Freeway versus Hwy 91 East, etc.

HOWEVER, roads around here will have the name of the adjoining town for the same piece of highway, depending on which town you're in; e.g., a road can be both Epping Road AND Exeter Road, depending on which town you're in.

It's normal use in England, one would refer to the M1 or the A20 or whatever...knowing the DUmmies probably heard it from an Englishman and decided to adopt the affectation. I don't know which I dislike more, Englishmen affecting American terms or American affecting English ones.

I wonder if any of the bullies alert on these threads - it's pretty clearly against the purpose of General DUmminess to have minor local issues posted. If the bullies were to do so, then some of the self-important Host DUmmies could discuss nadin without her seeing it in their supper-secret Host Forum.

I didn't realize that it was a regional saying until my last job. Most of my co-workers transferred from other areas of the country (even some from England). They found "fixin' to" hilarious.
