1. In the past, the admins of the site have offered an amnesty period after

major events like a presidential election.

But I haven't seen any indication that they are doing that (yet?).

I think your only option is to contact them directly with your request, but I know you are not the only one who wants this.

For the most part we operate in a system based onlyy on voluntary compliance and amorphous community enforced standards.
