Ok, yall can school me if you want but I don't get this ^. I have had some pretty crappy life happenings and I didn't need to go get counseling, I didn't need to call and cry on someone, and I didn't really need some phone number to call. I just thought this crap happens and figured out if I was to blame and corrected the issue and it never has happened again. I know some people are "strong" but it seems that the lefts answer to everything that goes wrong is to go burden someone else.
As a medic you get to see some soldiers that have serious issues. I'm not against giving folks an ear and a shoulder but at the same time a soldier still has to be willing to march.
I had one soldier I crisis counseled and get her help, etc. A few months later I heard from her NCOIC she was showing up to work late. I paid her a visit and said, point blank, "This is how you pay me back?" It stung her but pain is corrective. However, if she were a total shit-bag it never would have stung, so kudos to her.
These Proglodytes though; they're a whole 'nother animal.
