I guess I have some organic squash....well, I did absolutely nothing to grow them. I mowed my garden spot, then plowed in some rich black dirt that I cleaned from some shallow drainage ditches that stop up from decaying leaves, grass clippings and pecans. There was one large squash left on a plant that did not produce much of anything in the cool damp summer we had. The seeds in that got scattered around I guess. Now I have the biggest, prettiest, darkest green foliage on a squash plants you've ever seen. No fertilizer, no poisons, no bugs, no water, no plowing, no hoeing, I've done absolutely nothing for the plants but pick excellent squash.....and they go well with meat, cheese, milk, eggs, etc....does that mean I'll die at 99 instead of a 100?
