Americans in general are very upset about the recent government shutdown and most are blaming republicans. Obviously, that's a good thing since they are to blame, but how long will their anger last? Americans are also upset about the family glitch in the health care law and many are blaming Democrats (I'm always hearing and reading that Nancy Pelosi said pass the law first without reading it to see what's in it. That's NOT what I think, it's what other people are saying). As the health care law goes into effect, more and more Americans are going to discover and be negatively impacted by the family glitch. Those hurt the most will be low income families. Unlike the shutdown, unless the family glitch is fixed, it will impact families all the way up to the next election. Because of the timing, I'm afraid the family glitch will hurt Democrats more than the shutdown will hurt Republicans. Who else is concerned about this?

Hey DUmmy guess what, you can't blame the repukes for one sentence in 0bamacare. The whole thing was drafted, forced through congress and signed into law by democrats. And yes Pelosi really did say we need to pass it to see what's in it.

Looks like Scuba must be getting a hefty subsidy. If he had to pay more he would be screaming his head off. Typical of DUmmies as long as they don't have to pay they don't care how much the rest of us do. I could be like this DUmmy and not care because so far my wife and I are not seeing any changes with our insurance, we are the lucky few who's policies seem unaffected by this monstrosity, I do believe it is only a matter of time before they screw with our policy though. Even if we never have to pay an additional dime, I still do not want any working people to have to rearrange their budgets all so some DUmmies can get what they see as free health care.

The so-called family glitch in the health law requires employers to provide “affordable” insurance only for the workers themselves – not for their families.

Premiums for individual coverage must not exceed 9.5 percent of a worker’s income. But there is no limit on the employee’s share of premiums for family coverage, which typically costs close to three times as much as individual coverage.

I just rowed over.  Good Lord, there are several DUmmies asking "what's the family glitch?  Sounds like trolling."  How freaking ignorant can they be about this law they defend to the death?  Everybody knows about this! 

Wow, the DUmmies are being huge assholes over there to the OP.  She says she's a cancer survivor and the family glitch is a big problem, and she's rather scared for her life.

You know what's most telling about this whole situation?  How many stories has the MSM run about people claiming their premiums have gone DOWN because of Obamacare?

That's right--NONE.  Zero. Zip. Nada.  Not a single ****ing one.  Every single case has premiums going UP, not down.  Less affordable, not more.  And people are simply saying, "**** it--it's cheaper to pay the fine."  Particularly those young folks on whom things like Social Security, etc., is propping up the system.  So when they see how they've been treated like a prison ho, what do you think is going to happen to a HUGE segment of your precious voting bloc, DUmmies?

Where is your god NOW?

Its the deductibles that prove the lie to health care. The cheapest  policies (most affordable) have the highest deductibles.

What does this mean: Even with Obamacare, the poor have NO healthcare. Can a poor guy afford thousands of dollars before his insurance kicks in?
I get $10 prescriptions...will the poor get that? NO!

Once this kicks in, the GOP will gain seats, not lose them. All in spite of idiots running the party.

A lot of those "50,000,000 uninsured", or whatever the number was they pulled out of their asses and wrung their hands constantly about, were single young adults who were in good health and didn't want insurance to begin with. I know I didn't buy health insurance myself until I was in my 30's. I wonder how that demographic feels about having to shell out hundreds of dollars a month now for a product they don't need or want.

I imagine they thought it would either be free or next to it, now they are facing the reality that they will be paying not only for their own coverage but coverage for the 0bamaphone people as well.
