What I said was perhaps you could put an amount into a deductible IRA that would bring your income down to a level that would qualify for the subsidy.

It was directed at those who might have lost it by a few hundred dollars, and maybe contributing those few hundred dollars might get your income into the subsidy qualification range.

As a well informed, and kind DUer pointed out to me, the income level is based on the Modified Adjusted Gross Income, NOT the Adjusted Gross Income. The Modified Adjusted Gross Income, does NOT allow for deductible IRAs.

Sorry if this messed anyone up.

I hope they try to do something quickly, because this could cause more issues for a lot of folks because the premiums are just too much for some if they are not subsidized

DUmmies, when are you mouth-breathing sister-****ing 1 + 1 = potato inbreds gonna figure out that if the government had it's way, they'd tax every dime you have as many times as they can until you have NOTHING left?

This is pretty much moot as they have stated publically that they have no ability or intention of checking the truthfulness of applicants.

Does anyone doubt that moonbats will simply lie about their income to make it whatever's required to get the maximum taxpayer subsidy?

Does anyone believe the information on moonbat applications for government health insurance will be checked?
