Park Service Director: I Discussed Closing Monuments With White House
http://www.weeklystandard.com/blogs/park-service-director-i-discussed-closing-monuments-white-house_763609.html

Quote
National Park Service director Jarvis said he discussed closing the open-air monuments and memorials with the White House, as well as the secretary of the Interior Department:

"Yes, I did," says the director when asked whether he discussed the closures with the secretary of the Interior Department.

"You didn't discuss it with anyone in the White House, did you?" asks a congressman.

The NPS and White House were involved in closing national parks and memorials.

....and other government welfare freebies to numerous to enumerate.....hey, the words "Welfare" and "Enumerate" are in The Constitution so the freebies are guaranteed by The Constitution and it's all good to a DUmmies way of thinking.

He seems to have been real careful to not say he had spoken directly with Obama.....that would have cost him his job....an IRS audit, loss of government pension, health insurance, etc., etc..

I find people like him gutless and smarmy.  Just answer the damn questions honestly.  If our government employees are too afraid to tell the truth, what does that say about our government?

He kept blaming the 'local' officials for the really frustrating or dangerous details. Kristi Noem questioned him about a road closing that was unnecessary and he just kept saying he didn't have anything to do with it.
