Rep. Tom McClintock on the Debt Crisis
« on: October 16, 2013, 03:39:29 AM »
While the current impasse began “over a collapsing health program, it’s now taken on the dimensions of a constitutional crisis.”

The tail end of McClintock's speech:

Quote
Yesterday in Washington, a group of America’s veterans rose up to take a stand against these constitutional usurpations. I believe the salvation of our nation now depends on the American people joining them.

Pretty powerful stuff. Sounds like he's throwing in the towel and giving up on his own political class.

Can you blame him?

He's from Calif. Been fighting against the socialists his whole life. Ran for Gov. the year Schwarzenegger won. Wished he could have won. (sigh)

Nope, not at all. We will reap what we've sown.

Thanks, LIV. There is no end to what you demand for yourself. And there's no end to the kind of politician you demand for yourself -- the kind that waters your lawn, takes your trash out, walks your dog, and brings home the pork.

The LIV is responsible for this catastrophe that McClintock is talking about.
