The NPS should get a 90% haircut on their budget. I don't care if the order came from Obama to make Americans feel pain. They should have not obeyed his tyranny. It does make one consider that they would not have a problem causing bodily harm or murder of their fellow citizens if the order came from Obama.
COST MORE THAN DOING NOTHING
1. Closing open air monuments where the maintenance is paid by private funds (WWII Memorial). Guards on the job when not before.
2. Setting up and enforcing cones on a public highway.
3. Falsely imprisoning people in Yellow Stone Inn.
4. Sending para military thugs to kick volunteers out of a privately owned and operated monuments.
CUTTING REVENUE TO THE NPS:
1. Kicking out campers in the national land that are concessions to private companies like NACO, 1000 trails. Estimate of losses 200 million per week.
2. Shuttering privately run concessions like hotels, restaurants, and museums that have access by national parks. Estimate of loss 5-10 million per week.
To summarize, Obama's NPS spent extra labor that they did not before and cut off revenue streams all to make the productive American citizenry FELL THE PAIN!!!!! You don't think he would go out of his way to make sure you didn't get medical care if you don't think right?
