I ask because apparently this is the new talking point of the tea party.. that WW2 vest were kept out of the mall but illegal aliens are going to be let in.

Unfortunately the details at the site seems sparse.

It seems there's a rally and it looks like it will be at the national mall. It could be right outside the mall on the street but I cant' find anywhere that says that.

3. Saw a discussion about this somewhere on MSNBC recently,

planners considering issues re: govt shut down, 'permit' requirement for march. Planner said they'd figure something out.

The Mall is a long 'park,' between the White House at 16th St. and Pennsylvania Avenue and Capitol Hill at about 1st Street. Meetings and gatherings along the Mall are common, and there are many streets adjacent to The Mall.

The vets were not kept out of the Mall, they were not permitted on the grounds of the WWII Memorial by Park Service police.

I hardly think the SEIU is in the business of distributing RW talking points.

Somewhere, something is ****ed up. My Brother and Sister Veterans cannot go visit The Vietnam Wall. My Brother and Sister Veterans cannot go visit the WWII Memorial, even in their ****ING WHEELCHAIRS, pushed by their handlers. Commissaries and PXes are closed. Active Duty servicemen and women are being forced to pay more for their groceries and necessities.

We've (or so I've read) been told that the Mall was closed because of the need to keep people from hurting themselves...

So who's going to be there tomorrow to keep the demonstrators from hurting THEM****INGSELVES, I politely ask?

Well more illegals than veterans voted for 0bama, so it makes sense that the vets get the cold shoulder and the illegals get the red carpet.

Well, if even the DUmmies think this looks bad, that's really saying something.  Thread fell like a stone.  Rally is planned for 12-6, a full six hours!  Lots of people will be seeing that.

This is easy. Obama is a racist and in his own words (well Ayers's words) "I hate whites with a searing passion."  Veterans are mostly white. Illegals are mostly not white.

Obama, like most narcissists,  is a very basic and hateful man. Given the circumstances around any decision 99% of the time I can guess which way he will go.

This is just another instance of Obama flipping decent and civilized people the bird. Refusing veterans that have served their country and paid a lifetime of taxes access while granting ILLEGAL aliens who pay no taxes and get free goodies from the government access.

Yeah, because "bad optics" is the most important aspect, not compassion for your fellow citizens, elderly men and women who fought to make sure you aren't speaking German today. Men and women who came home from war and quietly went about their lives and wanted nothing more than to provide their children and grandchildren a better life. Unfortunately, those children ended up being a bunch of spoiled brats who are currently stomping their feets and throwing tantrums because their side isn't getting their way.
