Funny... even Jay the Carney is calling it "ObamaCare".
NH Union Leader

I find it comical that the DUmmies have been agonizing for years now on whether it was "acceptable" to call it "Obamacare".  Never linked a thread, but there were some amusing ridiculous discussions about that.  Some wanted to call it MR. Obamacare, or just the ACA.  Freaking goofballs. :mental:

You see, I don't care you how feel.  I really don't.  More importantly, neither does anyone else.  Only about 200 people on a planet of 7 billion actually care about your feelings, and that's if you're lucky.  The sooner you grasp this lesson, the better off you will be.  And since almost no one gives a damn what you do, say, think, or feel, appealing to your feelings when you encounter differences of opinion is not only illogical, but useless.

Are you pulling my leg, Ralph?

There was an obamacare article in USA Today yesterday, spouting the spoonfed wisdom that all that traffic must mean people are desperately demanding obamacare.  All the commenters started howling.  You're so naive, [article author]!  It's people looking at a trainwreck, you can't look away.

I'm not touching the site with a tenfoot pole.  For all I know, you immediately get a virus by now.

It's not a bad porno if head board smacking is involved.

Of course not, Karin.

Not long after the 0bumbler was elected in 2008, the DUmmies kept dissing each other about even using the name "Obama" without including Mr. or President before it.  Quite the "ferfuffle", to quote a Nadin.  :-)

On complaints on the media
The latest kerfunkle, as usual, revealed the deep distrust in American media. Yup, it's real. People simply don't like reporters, we are evil (and apparently making six to seven figure incomes). Not just that, we are pampered.

Roger that. The discussion, as I recall, surrounded the proper honorific for the Kenyan Keystone Kop. I think they settled on "His Royal Majesty, The Benevolent Honorable Rev. Sir Dr. President Barack Hussein Obama, LLC, Ed.D., Ph.D., M.D., FACS, CFA, DDS, Esq., Inc." You had to say that while standing, with your right hand over your heart, facing Berkeley, while forcing a tear to form.

Anyone else remember it that way?

I was listening to the Issa hearing with the IRS today on Cspan.  One of the questions was regarding the employer fines.  There is an understanding that if an employer provided insurance is missing any of the required preventative coverage, the employer can be fined $100 per person per day that's affected by it.

That would work out to $36,500 per year.  Apparently one of the congressmen has been trying to get an answer to that from HHS, and no one seems to be able to answer his question.

"We make men without chests and expect of them virtue and enterprise. We laugh at honor and are shocked to find traitors in our midst. We castrate and then bid the geldings to be fruitful."

A community may possess all the necessary moral qualifications, in so high a degree, as to be capable of self-government under the most adverse circumstances; while, on the other hand, another may be so sunk in ignorance and vice, as to be incapable of forming a conception of liberty, or of living, even when most favored by circumstances, under any other than an absolute and despotic government.

143. The sticker shock is going to hurt a lot more people, I'm afraid.

This is basically healthcare rationing. People simply won't be able to afford the premiums, the deductibles, or both.

And you know that it's only going to get worse since Barack Hussein Guevara has proved that he has the unilateral power to change the law at will, to suit his needs:

Second, we are giving businesses more time to comply. As we make these changes, we believe we need to give employers more time to comply with the new rules. Since employer responsibility payments can only be assessed based on this new reporting, payments won’t be collected for 2014.
