Another public service announcement.....

DO NOT...I repeat....DO NOT go see the move "The Love Guru" with Mike Myers.  It sucked ass and we walked out because it sucked that much and I can't even tell you the last time I walked out of a movie.

I have heard the Love Guru sucked Bigtime.

Watched "August Rush" the other night. Can't say I liked it but can't say I disliked it.

The last movie I walked out on was called Threesome. I was in high school and I was supposed to do a review of it for my high school newspaper.

As far as Get Smart goes, I've heard that if you are a fan of the TV show, you might be disappointed. If you never saw the TV show, Steve Carrel is worth the price of admission.

My ass graduated summa cum laude.

I've read one review of "Smart".  It was lukewarm.  I'm sure it is a matter of taste.

I can't stand Mike Myers. He does the same character and expressions just with a different accent. I had planned on staying far away from this travesty. Good to know I was right.

I got to see "Get Smart" Monday night at a preview. I didn't hear much of the sound since I was in the projection booth watching the film from up there and making sure no one tampered with the film. I also got to see "The Incredible Hulk" and between the two of them the Hulk looked to be the much better movie.

Thank you very much.  I am always suspicious of comedies anyway because most of the time they substitute gross for funny.  I watched Click a short time ago because a friend was trying to get me to be more contemporary and less distrustful modern comedy movies and while it wasn't totally awful, it could have been an actually good movie if they didn't try to Adam Sandlerize it which seeing a potential good movie ruined by pandering to modern conventions is the worst kind of suckage, IMO.

The first time I saw a commercial for it, I thought it would be funny.  The more commercials I saw the more I realized that it was probably just stupid and not worth the time.
