Anyone else angrier RIGHT NOW then you were during 9/11?

That would be me! Boehner has the votes to end this lunacy and he won't.call.the.vote.

I am frothing at the mouth.

I live and work in DC. I am a therapist. Half of my clients work for the government and one after the other is calling to say they can't come in because they can't afford it. I am seeing them anyway, I have told them "pay me if you can, or don't, just come in because we are all in this together."

It sounds charitable and good but the truth is, besides the fact that I do want to help, I have nothing better to do with the time anyway so I may as well help!

If shutdown = 9/11 then realize this is just blow back for your imperialist overreach.

2. Yes, I'm pissed! These republicants have done what Osama Bin-Laden couldn't!

They have stopped our government in it's tracks......mostly just to prove that they could!

These republicans have become the domestic enemy that I, and every other soldier, took an oath to defend this country against!

Don't count your battle buddies 'til they're in your foxhole, TheDebbieDoesDP.

Now that is a scary thought.  I've been in a few spots were I didn't think I was going to make it out, but the thought of you being a therapist just frightens me to the core.

Far more believable if you substitute prostitute for therapist. Otherwise zero bongs.

If it were a real therapist, it would be taking insurance not out of pocket payments from the Cadillac insurance that federal workers get.

When you are the beneficiary of a policy that steals from someone and gives it to you in return for your vote, it produces a sense of entitlement and dependency.

I'm pretty angry that Harry Reid won't even let stuff be discussed. He just says no.  That should make everyone angry.

I'm beginning to think that Mark Levin is right.  If the Democrats aren't even going to play ball, maybe it is time for the states to step in and step up.

Maybe she's a massage therapist and just rubs stuff.

That's funny because here we are in day 3 of the "government shutdown crisis" and I have yet to see anything that has made an impact in my life, my family's lives, my friend's lives, my neighbor's lives, or my co-worker's lives.  If this is the apocoplyse that the dems promised, then keep the govt. shut down and refund my for all the tax dollars that are being saved.

And Jukin's right.  If she's a real therapist, it would be under insurance.  Very nice insurance packages, I might add.  The dems made insurance cover mental health a long time ago.

I hope all this stress and anxiety is harmful to the DUmmies' health.

This hasn't impacted me in the least, nor anybody I know.  Nobody's mentioned it at work, and I've been in checkout lines two days in a row.  Not a peep.

I seem to recall a recent state issue where all of the Democrats in the state senate simply packed up and crossed a state border to avoid a vote - and in the process denying a budget quorum - and I seem to remember the primitives cheering loudly and often....  Remember, DUmmies ?

Perhaps this will jog your memories..

Barry O'Sissypants and Dingy Harry and Stretch Pelosi are going to get more hysterical, desperate, stupid, and gaffe-prone the longer this shutdown goes on.  The Hairyhippychick senses this and it frightens her.

Yup.  But I wouldn't be so sure you can't find a prostitute who takes Fed BC/BS as a sex therapist.  I mean think of it.  Tension release, massage, manipulation, just put in the right codes and wait for the checks to roll in. :whistling:
