I Am Getting Concerned That This Crisis Could Become Really Ugly And Possibly Dangerous.
   
I think that things are starting to get out of hand as the GOP seems intent to double down every hour no matter if the country implodes. If they use the "nuclear option" by refusing to raise the debt limit a lot of checks will stop. That includes Social Security and Medicare payments among other things. And our military will have to stand down and be stranded in the war zones. Once they tip the "debt limit domino" the damage will be impossible to stop.

The public is still not aware of how dangerous the GOP is now. They have become a rabid dog ready to bite and maul everyone in the country and I believe the Kochs and their billionaire friends like Reich exposed are directly behind this crisis. And it is a crisis and the shut down is more serious than we know.

The media is hiding the damage to protect the GOP. And they are trying to down play the critical nature of what they are doing. The nation is having a heart attack of sorts and the GOP is deliberately aggressively blocking any treatment.

We are treating them too kindly. They have no legitimate reason to govern as they do. We must realize that at some point we are going to have take the political gloves off and challenge their madness.

What I find most bothersome is that they are showing NO REMORSE OR CONSCIENCE for the people who will suffer and die eventually from their tactics. In fact they are getting more aggressive. Cruz is a very dangerous and ruthless politician. In my view he is just as dangerous as Bin Laden was in a different way. And he really is a egomaniacal psychopath.

They are creating a dangerous crisis and are playing with fire deliberately.

8. My Post Is Just The Feeling I Get About The Situation.
 
Being a vet you learn to get the feel of the terrain. It is like when troops get near an ambush or a firefight in Vietnam. You cannot see far in the jungle, but the instincts take over an things feel wrong and look wrong.

Because the media is so bad an corrupt now they are totally unreliable. And we don't have any kind of media that will expose them. The media is giving them legitimacy and cover 24/7. And hate radio is 90% dominant. About 75% of the populace only hears the hate radio message. When Orson Wells did his sic fi program back in the 1930's he terrified the country. Hate radio is spreading hate and terror everyday now in support of the GOP.

This situation stinks of a larger conspiracy. And there is something behind these baggers.

I am wondering if others have this same feeling about the situation. When a drunk Speaker mocks a President like Bonehead did that is really a historical first and should bring outrage.

They think the US was created by God as his plan and these 7 Mountain types (one is Sarah Palin) and to fulfill their Prophecy they HAVE to first take over all aspects of this country. Some tea folk came by my farm to buy some wheat from me (these people are storing up huge amounts of food)......They confided that very soon, the whole country was going to be shut down. I really did not think the GOP would do this, but now that they have, I am worrying about a whole bunch of terrorist activities that they may do to us, as they hate so much and seem so very crazy. Just 10 minutes ago a very loud and large plane flew very low over my neighborhood. It made me wonder, and worry.

and defensible. The Capitol Police seem like a pretty reasonable bunch to me. But they'd never do that without a clear go-ahead from someone.

has come. So much is wrong in the world and my friends seem

so confused and angry and full of hate... The government has made a mess of things and

I see no way out this time. I will go get my money from the bank and buy some

supplies. I have a motor home I can live in and move if necessary..

These are very scary times and the republican congress seem so happy

and satisfied with all of this. I see more disarray coming and I want to be

prepared as possible... Thank you for posting. I too am happy I am not alone

in my thoughts of crisis coming like we have never seen..

These Republicans are a bunch of crooks and cowards, that is right crooks and cowards.

What they seek is one thing and that is more money $$$ for their ilk and more money $$$ for wars without end and the demise of America as most of us have known it to be; the 99% that are the "not haves" so to speak.

I hope the Republican party self-destructs as a result of this barbaric effort/tactic to dehumanize the other 99% of the American citizens that are not of their stinking "ilk" so to speak and they live in glass houses and how dare they throw stones!

I thought that Katrina would finish off the Republican party once and for all but it did not (wrong folks "involved" in that "incident" so to speak ..  ). It was the end I thought really when American citizens were left to die in that horrible storm and to this day, they still don't know what the real numbers are and that is because this same group of people aforementioned doesn't care about them. They are not members of the 1% so to hell with them is their holier than thou attitude. 

I remember what my late father (a vote the ticket died in wool Democrat) use to say about pukes: "I've never seen one yet that ever had a god damn thing to offer!".

Wow was he ever right eh? They in fact don't have a damn thing and that is why they sit behind the table acting "as if" they are ready to negotiate when it has been made clear to them already that the President does not plan to "negotiate" with these freaks that do not have the best interest of the American people in mind -- they care only about their "ilk" which I believe is getting smaller with every day that passes.

This is a despicable group of trash that needs to be tossed out of politics once and for all are they, yes they are terrorizing the American people and the American way of life.

As for the President, my advice to him is to sign an Executive Order and pass the damn budget and get the house in order to avoid any more chaos! This needs to be done at once!

WTF?  These same DUmmies have bitched and moaned about how bad ObamaCare is, but when it comes time for someone to be able to stop it or slow it's progress, then they put party loyalty above their own interests. They truly are sheep.

Obama sn Harry Reid hold the power to end the shutdown and get a debt ceiling increase passed rather painlessly.  They just have to agree for congress and the president to abide by ObamaCare, and end other exceptions for cronies, or delay the personal mandate.

Pretty simple way to end the standoff, but Obama places his legacy legislation above the good of the country.
