Bill Maher: Conservatives Must Come to California

Since then, everything Republicans say can't or won't work -- gun control, immigration reform, high-speed rail -- California is making work. And everything conservatives claim will unravel the fabric of our society -- universal healthcare, higher taxes on the rich, gay marriage, medical marijuana -- has only made California stronger. And all we had to do to accomplish that was vote out every single Republican. Without a Republican governor and without a legislature being cock-blocked by Republicans, a $27 billion deficit was turned into a surplus, continuing the proud American tradition of Republicans blowing a huge hole in the budget and then Democrats coming in and cleaning it up.

58. This is why I am in favor of dividing the country. Conservatives are reponsible for all the human

made problems on the planet. I'm sick and tired of dealing with their ignorance, selfishness, and stupidity. I'm sick and tired of having to work to keep conservatives from getting power and authority. I'm sick and tired of having to clean up the huge messes conservatives make, like a parent cleaning up after toddler quintuplets in the throes of the absolute worst case of the "terrible twos".

Give them their own country so they can establish the doomed, superstitious, repressive authoritarian Idiocracy they continually clamor for.

We would start evolving at the speed of light without conservatives to obstruct us with their constant and incurable childishness.

These are the people who need the government to be their parents and they call us childish.
They claim we make the mess when they have made a pretty big mess from 2007 until today.
They are the ones who constantly throw tantrums over trivial things like Rush Limbaugh and Faux snooze.
They are the ones who throw a tantrum until some democrat promises them more freebies.
They are the ones who want total control and all who disagree with them thrown in jail and silenced forever.
They are the ones who have turned this once great country into just another socialistic nation that is falling apart at the seams.


I do agree with us separating ourselves from them. They can have their socialistic utopia with the government providing their every need and telling them how to live their lives, then when it finally goes broke they will be begging us to bail them out. We will then say no, and that since they outlawed guns it's not like they could force us to help them.

Well naturally that is a lie. The left lies about economics all the time. Look at all the accounting tricks and lies that went into 0bamacare. The thing is leftists can say one thing today and next year claim they never said it, and the only people who notice are us, and we are told we are lying and smearing them when we point it out.

A great example is all the claims from Pelosi that 0bamacare was going to save us all money, now she's going around claiming she never said that.
There is also 0bama's promise that our premiums would go down by 3000%, or what he meant $3000 and on top of that our employers would be saving so much money we all would get get raises. Now we are finding that premiums are going up, hours are being cut, and millions of people will lose their plans that they like because it no longer is an approved program under 0bamacare, so those people are getting stuck with plans that cost much more that they don't even want.

It amazes me at what the leftists get away with, and those who notice their tricks are the ones who get hammered.

What a bunch of BS.  California is on the verge of bankruptcy. We have like 200 billion in unfunded liabilities.

We had a large tax increase this last year, but there is no way that made much difference.  Not with all the businesses still pulling up and moving to more business friendly states.

Looked it up. It's around $8-$10 billion in unfounded state pensions, money owed to the Federal gov't, and other various liabilities they didn't include in their budget numbers. Easy internet search with several articles on the topic.

I don't think so. Begging implies humility, which liberals are completely devoid of. More likely, when they go bankrupt (In no more than two years after their "Utopia" is first founded), they'll blame it on us and hilariously attempt to invade and conquer us, only to be completely and hilariously crushed by us.
