People are beginning to laugh at Obama - people who weren't laughing a month ago.  People are beginning to laugh at the people who aren't laughing.  This is getting to be fun.  It is still over two months until the convention.

Like I said elsewhere, I fear for Obama's health and wellbeing.  Liberals hate to be laughed at.  Liberals play dirty and they are in it to win.

you keep forgetting that our nominee is john mccain* . . . .

*why am I so pessimistic this year?  I can't figure it out.

I cannot figure out your pessimism either.  You never pass on an opportunity to inject it.  It is like it is controlling you.  I think Obama is in your head.  I think you have a deep subconscious desire for Obama to win - a desire even you do not recognize.

But fear not!  History is not on Obama's side.  We are being force-fed the same leftist media noise-diet we are forced to ingest every four years.  This season has the media especially up and cooking.  The media controls the noise, but they do not control reality.

Obama will lose at least 40 states. Like it or not, John McCain will be the next president of the United States.  McCain will not try for reelection in 2012.  His VP will run and most likely lose to a very "central" democrat.

I may have a very uneasy feeling about november, but THAT is just insane. :whatever: :-)

Somebody has to be the antedote to your Obama infection (affection?).   :lmao:

It is hardly "insane".  This is not a liberal nation.  Ten states is about all Obama will carry.  Bank it.

I just think we are witnessing a phenomenon.  people aren't listening to what he is saying, but they are
enraptured by him nonetheless.  it's all a little scary.

maybe I will feel better after the conventions.  we will see what the numbers look like after that.

How long till we start hearing the stories about teachers bitching about not having an Obama picture hanging up on the wall next to a George Bush picture?   :thatsright:

And that's good, how?  Give me four years of a Carter, which will in turn insure 12-20 years of conservative control, over the mess that we're dealing with now.  Seriously, this 40+ state thing won't happen.  McCain is putting states in play that shouldn't be.  Indiana, Colorado, North Dakota, the Carolinas, Georgia.  He should already have those states sewn up.  Not to mention that I can name for you ten states that will not go to McCain (Massachussetts, New York, California, Vermont, Rhode Island, Connecticut, Washington, Delaware, Hawaii, and Maine).  Once we get serious about our expectations, then we can start thinking about scenarios that might produce a McCain win.

Yeah, I read that. They think everybody is as gullible as their base.

Dumbass.

what's the difference when the obama campaign says, "It was only a one time thing all along", and when I think to myself, "wow, that was pretty damn stupid.  I'd better not do that again". :-)

maybe I will try it the other way next time. :p

Can you imagine this guy with access to the red phone???
I can see November 2 from my house!!!

No, my friends, there’s only one really progressive idea. And that is the idea of legally limiting the power of the government. That one genuinely liberal, genuinely progressive idea — the Why in 1776, the How in 1787 — is what needs to be conserved. We need to conserve that fundamentally liberal idea. That is why we are conservatives. --Bill Whittle
