Seems like DUmmies are pretty much terrified by a lot of things.
Terrified of guns. Apparently they think there's an Adam Lanza ready to pop up from behind the Orange Julius counter at every local mall.
Terrified of Muslims. Why else would they so studiously avoid criticizing them?
Terrified of the police. They all seem to have their own personal Rodney King Moment.
Terrified of randomness. Which is why so many are conspiracy theorists - they need to believe there is some overarching power behind the scenes controlling everything.
Terrified of introspection. There's always some external locus of control for what misfortune befalls them, or their favored groups, in life.
Terrified of words. Which is why they seek to control (other peoples') speech, censor, shout down, ban speakers, etc.
Terrified of personal responsibility and life in general. Why else would they demand a big nanny government to hold their clammy little claws and care for them cradle to grave?
