Latest on lady freeDUmb as it's leaving tomorrow

NOTHING.

No posts. No nothing. My guess is that she camped outside of the convenient store all night waiting for her last paycheck. The last paycheck is where the company deducts all outstanding money owed to them.

If it ends up in jail, there goes her ticket to the land of Qz. No refunds. No job, No trailer to live in. No Buick.

Might be a great day.

Come to think of it, unions do create jobs. Companies have to hire two workers to do the work of one.

Countdown is down to hours!!!

Got check on Thursday. I knew I was working some hours my last week due to everyone quitting. But my last check was $260.52! With what I was able to keep from my other check, I will have a even $300 to travel and live on when I get there!
 
Add to the $100 thanks to Wishadoo as a back up when it starts clearing for transfer on Sept. 30th. I have a good little nest egg!
 
I went to the Bus station just a little while ago and found that my bags come in with way more room to spare within the 50 and 25 pound limit. the check in bag comes in at 27 pounds (does not feel or look it), carry on comes in at 18 pounds (paperwork and the laptop combined). I have carried my fanny pack with nothing being said on 2 different trips so I don't see it being a problem this time.
 
Sill nervous about the OKC stop. Hope I can find my transfer. The Phoenix transfer will be a cake walk.  Once I clear the OKC hurdle, it will be a smooth and fun trip!

Once I am there, I may not be on much due to all that I need to do and getting to where I can get Wi-Fi. But I will try and keep people updated.
 
Something did hit me today. I am out to find that age old "American Dream". To see if the old "American Promise" is still out there. The one that says if you want it and fight for it, anything is possible. I have heard so many say it is dead. Well I guess I am about to find out. It excites and scares me.

She doesn't drive. How did she get her bags to the bus station to get them weighed without her loving sisters getting wise to what she is up to? Or did I miss where the sisters already know? Is she carrying her luggage everywhere she goes?

     10 days from now: "I put my luggage outside a Panera where I'd ordered a water. I was using their wifi and someone stole my bags! My nest egg was in the bags! I only have the dime I put in my pocket when I went into Panera just in case they charge for water. This sucks! I asked someone at the bus station if I could trust people here and he only charged me $20 for the answer: YES! So it looks like he LIED!"

See, most shelters only allow 7 day stays so I may have to stay on the street from time to time. Not the first time mind you, but that is why I know I may have some problems at first. Getting a job is going to be rough, that is why I need to find out how bad my ex SO throwing me out has made of me getting HUD/Section 8 has caused. I know I may have problems with Food Stamps due to a address mix up (long story...) and "advice" on how to deal with it. This out side person that messed up my relationship and life really did a number.
 
So I may be on the street from time to time and will not be able to get on due to safety.

me. But with the way the job is going and all that my family is demanding before I go ( they now know about the ticket and are furious. They are threatening to to get a legal hold on me if I don't pay up) I wanted to see if I can get help with some money to help me wile I was setting up in Tucson.
