I respect the police for protecting the safety and well being of communities everywhere in this land, and I thank you for your service ...

I also regret the loss of life of those officers who die in the performance of their duties ... they get paid money for their work, but that won't restore a lost life ...

That being said ... not everyone in this community has had good experiences with police officers ....

You are now in a Liberal forum, Democratic Underground ... What do you hope to gain with your presence here? .... I see you spend most of your time in 'The Gungeon', and so you are also a gun enthusiast ....

It's there some good reason you decided to join DU? ... Are you Liberal? ... Do you actually vote for Democrats? ... We have many pretenders in DU ... many have an agenda outside of mere discussion ...

This thread, as important as the subject matter is .... I can't help but think you had an ulterior motive for posting this here ... as if you want to collect the negative responses you are almost guaranteed to receive ...

I join with you in honoring the fallen heroes, but, your expectations for this thread may be exactly what you desired .... come clean ....

They are truly delusional, self-centered, sub-human trash. We need to get some scientists to work on finding a cure for this affliction. Yes there are some that have had run-ins with the police, but if you weren't pedaling the dope you just scored DUmmy you would probably have nothing to worry about.

You stooooopid, stooooopid, DUmbass! I have many friends who happen to be County Sheriffs and local City Police. Think of it as a perk. Ya never know when a solid friendship with a COP might come in damned handy!

Unless of course, you are a low down, stinkin', smelly, drug usin', Occupy, socialist, PETA, Green, POS.

I'm afraid my friends don't "play" that game.
