Thank You for the re-welcome, dear. I just now figured out what "TOS" means...so I do know Hand Man after all - I thought you were possibly referencing one of the Dodger websites like that Toaster thing.

New look for me for the summer! I got my hair chopped (they say its mandatory after childbirth) -

So listen! I have news...

Supergirl was born last year just before Halloween. At Christmas, I got it "in my head" that she needed a partner in crime right away. I remember sitting at midnight mass Christmas Eve and praying for fertility luck. Shortly after new years I took a pregnancy test and it came out negative, so I forgot about the whole thing.

Then a bunch of stuff changed with work and I ended up changing jobs. I was working a lot, and not paying attention to anything besides survival. Months passed and I never got my period again from when I had the baby, but I felt totally normal and my mom promised me she didn't get hers for a long time either.

So last month I got really pissed off because I was consistently doing my "10 minute Pilates Abs", and there continued to be a weird bump in my lower stomach. I was at work one night, and this customer said "Oh, when are you due?" And I almost fell over, because I didn't even consider that I might be pregnant. So I took a test.

This one is due mid-September. I was just about 6 months along when I found out. I have a great nurse-midwife this time around, and this baby is going to be born at home. (Last time I ended up having it in the hospital because everyone insisted I was crazy for wanting a home birth. Now that I know what I know, there's no way in hell I am going back to the hospital unless one of us is dying.)

I had a sonogram and everything looks normal...not going to find out the sex again until the big day.

Things are crazy but I hope to be around whenever I can!

God alone suffices.

No, my friends, there’s only one really progressive idea. And that is the idea of legally limiting the power of the government. That one genuinely liberal, genuinely progressive idea — the Why in 1776, the How in 1787 — is what needs to be conserved. We need to conserve that fundamentally liberal idea. That is why we are conservatives. --Bill Whittle
