So I have been on O2 for the better part of nine years...
In order for me to breath, I need some outside help to get enough O2. They have these concentrators that are "rented" to the patients.
 
Now I looked up how much the device that I have been "renting", via insurance and co-payments.
 
I have had the same machine for about four years now. The insurance has been paying out about $56.00 a month for the unit and another $30.00 or so per month for the hoses and cannulas.
 
Here is the thing. The Unit I have costs a little over $1,100. That's if I buy it. Probably about another $50 or so to buy hoses and what not.
 
So, we have been paying, me and the Insurance Company more than $ 2,800 dollars to Rent a piece of equipment and all the extras.
 
And when I get off the O2, they will take the machine back to the shop, make sure everything is working and then send it out again for another round of cash...
 
And this is just one medical devise. Wonder how much they get on all the other stuff they "rent" out to at home patients.
 
It's a pretty good system, if you ask me....

What really pisses me off is when someone tries to cheat on their dead pool.
Tries to get a little inside info, an edge.

Why doesn't DUmmy hedgehog ask the DUmbass when he's getting that lung transplant.
For years he's been claiming it's imminent.

The DUmmie needs to buy a couple of 9mm rounds (about 50 cents each) and borrow a gun.

Apply the barrel of the gun to the roof of the mouth and squeeze trigger, thereby saving the insurance company $2,799.50. (I'm sure the insurance company would gladly buy the bullets for the DUmmie, and maybe even rent the gun to it.)   :lmao:

Of course it doesn't make economic sense to keep this useless DUmmy alive.

WCGreen had better hope he gets that lung transplant before one of the muslim's death panels gets a look at his case.

Actually, he's been claiming an imminent transplant for so long, he either made it up, as DUmmies are wont to do, or the hospital has decided his sorry ass is too far gone to risk their statistics.
