Cops find that some criminals are using Facebook and other social media to advertise their misdeeds to the world -- unwittingly leaving a trail of evidence behind. In August, deputies got a complaint abut a woman, Ashley Renee McGinley, allegedly selling food stamps on Facebook, according to a report from the Hernando County Sheriff's Office.
When detectives went to question the 23-year-old Spring Hill woman on August 20th, they conveniently found her at the jail, where she was being held on unrelated charges, according to the Sheriff's Office.
If she watched Fox news, she would have been informed enough to avoid the risk of this kind of fraud.
