It is 107 degrees here, in the shade.

Staying inside with cold beer, cold lemonade, Central A/C.

The girls are watching "Camp Rock" on the Disney Channel. I'm playing on the computer
Let nothing trouble you,
Let nothing frighten you.
All things are passing;
God never changes.
Patience attains all that it strives for.
He who has God lacks nothing:
God alone suffices.

It is an unseasonably cool 85 degrees at my abode.  Once again, it never made it up to 90.  I hope it is a trend.

I'm not doing anything of note.  Just waiting for the darkness.  And the voices.

My bike got delivered today.  I am a happy young lad.  :hyper:

Other than that, I have to work on Saturday.  Again.  I like the overtime, but I'm really really tired of this place.

Ahh, I'm just so I'm glad that it's Friday after work and I'm at home.

It's freaking hot today.

We were nearing 82, it then rained, now it is sunny and I am relaxing on the porch with a glass of wine and 72 degrees.....

Just finished dinner, salad and brats. Life is good.

I had a recipe for beer-broiled brats.  Beer, onions, peppers, and spices.  I need to find it.  It was really tasty.

Just got home from work.  Now, to enjoy the remainder of my lunch, which consisted of a London Broil, steamed broccoli and cauliflower (YUM! And it was crisp, too, not soggy) and a vegetable medley (squash, green beans, carrots).   I guess when my college is as small as it is, the cafeteria is able to keep up with the food quality.  :)

Now, I'll be downloading some of the suggested songs in my song recommendations thread and enjoying a beer or two.   :-)

It's just us two lovebirds (wink wink nudge nudge) for a while. Kiddo is off having fun with the grandparents. We took our time at the grocery store wandering around and eating the free samples. Picked out some really good cheeses and wine and lots of things people with no kids would eat. We're just giddy lol! Of course I already miss the little bugger.

Going to watch all of the R rated movies we've missed! Whoo hoo!

It's only 71 here and it feels great!

No, my friends, there’s only one really progressive idea. And that is the idea of legally limiting the power of the government. That one genuinely liberal, genuinely progressive idea — the Why in 1776, the How in 1787 — is what needs to be conserved. We need to conserve that fundamentally liberal idea. That is why we are conservatives. --Bill Whittle
