The water carriers are carrying their loads -- ABC headline re: Obama's "flip-flop"
Obama's Flip-Flop on Public Financing
http://abcnews.go.com/Politics/story?id=5205505&page=1
Funny, no mention of McCain's flip-flops on EVERYTHING.
The story's about Barry "Goldwater" Obama reneging on one of his campaign pledges to take only federal campaign money, and not money from special interests.
Pedro Picasso seems to have a, uh, rather unusual definition of "fairness" and "balance" in the media, but never mind.
As our esteemed colleague USA4ME once pointed out, to Pedro Picasso "accurate" news-reporting is subtitling all photographs of George Bush WAR CRIMINAL and all photographs of Barry "Goldwater" Obama OUR SAVIOR (although at the time the comment was made, it was Dennis Kucinich, and not Barry "Goldwater" Obama).

1. WTF is wrong with ABC. Are they trying to do the "FOX" thing again like all news outlets tried in 2004

2. I love the comments
Everyone recognizes this as crap. McCain wouldn't do it if the roles were reversed. McCain has been dishonest about every aspect of his cam-pain and now he wants to whine about not getting money. F*** Him! They have been doing the same for years!

3. Too bad their claim is BS
Mr. Obama did not rule out the possibility of accepting public financing, but declared on Friday, “I’m not the nominee yet.â€
“If I am the nominee,†Mr. Obama told reporters at a news conference in Milwaukee, “I will make sure our people talk to John McCain’s people to find out if we are willing to abide by the same rules and regulations with respect to the general election going forward. It would be presumptuous of me to start saying now that I am locking into something when I don’t even know if the other side will agree to it.â€
Last year, Mr. Obama sought an advisory ruling from the Federal Election Commission to see whether his campaign could opt out of public financing in the primary season and accept it in the general election. It was merely an inquiry, he said, not a pledge to accept the financing.
