It's been a dry spell for a while since the Zimmerman verdict, especially with all those uncomfortable reports lately about black-on-white assaults and murder.

46 year-old white Texas man shoots 8 year-old Black child.
Brian Cloninger, 46, was charged with injury to a child. He remains in the Dallas County jail on a $2.2 million bond.
The boy, identified as Donald Maiden, Jr., was shot in the parking lot of La Bella Palms apartments in the 9400 block of Royal Lane near Abrams Road. Witnesses told police Cloninger had been seen waving his gun at people before the shooting, according to an arrest warrant affidavit.
A resident at the apartment complex went outside after hearing the gunshot. The boy bleeding was profusely, and Cloninger was standing beside his silver pickup truck. The man asked whether Cloninger shot the boy, according to police reports.
“Yes I shot that kid,†Cloninger told the witness, according to the arrest warrant.

Why hasn't the Drudge Report run this on the front page so the so-called Liberal media can pick it up?
I guess Drudge figures the Lib media will have no problem saturating the airwaves with it on their own.

White-on-black violence is generally systemic and diffuse and usually involves alternative forms of violence. Like economic and social violence.
If we consider these forms, white vs minority violence is probably the most prevalent form of violence in the entire nation.
Got that? Not only have they redefined racism as something only "the powerful" (read: whites) can perpetrate, now they've defined violence in ways that can be exclusively ascribed to white people.

67. A thinking person would understand that there is indeed institutionalized 'white on black violence'.
There is a reason that black males are 7 times more likely to be jailed than white males for an identical crime.
I love when people give a thumbs-up to particularly ignorant posts... I can write them off so much more quickly that way.

Well, there might be one or two threads that drop like rocks, like with the OK WW2 vet who was beat to death in a parking lot on his way to shoot pool at some lodge. Or the guy in TX who threw gasoline on an elderly woman working a register at a convenience store and then set her on fire. Or the woman recently brutally beaten by a group of teens. There are endless examples of such black on white violence. And none of them are hot topics on DU PRECICELY because the victims are white and the perps are black.
Whoa! A rare moment of sanity on DU. Mark it.
