ST. PETERSBURG (The Borowitz Report)—Hopes for a positive G20 summit crumbled today as President Obama blurted to Russia’s Vladimir Putin at a joint press appearance, “Everyone here thinks you’re a jackass.”

The press corps appeared stunned by the uncharacteristic outburst from Mr. Obama, who then unleashed a ten-minute tirade at the stone-faced Russian President.

“Look, I’m not just talking about Snowden and Syria,” Mr. Obama said. “What about ***** Riot? What about your anti-gay laws? Total jackass moves, my friend.”

As Mr. Putin narrowed his eyes in frosty silence, Mr. Obama seemed to warm to his topic.

“If you think I’m the only one who feels this way, you’re kidding yourself,” Mr. Obama said, jabbing his finger in the direction of the Russian President’s face. “Ask Angela Merkel. Ask David Cameron. Ask the Turkish guy. Every last one of them thinks you’re a dick.”

Shortly after Mr. Obama’s volcanic performance, Mr. Putin released a terse official statement, reading, “I should be afraid of this skinny man? I wrestle bears.”

After one day of meetings, the G20 nations voted unanimously on a resolution that said maybe everyone should just go home.

yep, this president is such a class act. working so hard to improve our relationship and standing with other world nations... :sarcasm:

Well, Obama has had his rear end kissed by just about everyone on the global stage in his first term. Then here comes Putin in the second term. He isn't giving him the star treatment and running his nation his way and like a spoiled brat, Obama doesn't know how to handle it.

 Me if I was Putin  would consider the man nuts and crazy to boot. Strange over lord of a country that has the ability to take them  down and walk off saying don't blame me it was my congress that started it all.   He did nothing, he was playing golf, none of this is his fault.

Cannot imagine what the rest of the world thinks of Obama.    He is an interesting leader , I am sure other leaders are shaking their heads and wondering WTF.

We got a real weird leader today, one that is and has no ability to  do more then take vacations and have no idea what his job requires.

Well why should he, he was not brought to our country until he was a teenager,---all those years of education as a Muslim.    His college was fun lots of pot smoking and getting all huffy about black history that he was never a part of.


Crap why does he not give glory to the white side of the family, the Grandpa that served in WW2

Has this man been so indoctrinated in the Muslim faith that he cannot see America for what it is ?

You know, I believe, to put kindly, Obama is having a 'nervous breakdown'. He's canned about all the sane, level headed high ranking officers in the military and put his liberal ass kissers in their place. If he issues some insane military order will any one of them have the backbone to stand up to him and say "NO".

I don't know but this does sound like satire. Even though it came from the New Yorker. I'm no fan of 0bama by any means but this seems over the top. Only time will tell.

Hoped it was true, because Putin would have unloaded on him.  I'm still not sure that any of our ships that fire off missiles at Syria re not legally fair game for Russian ships.

With no UN backing, no other nations backing Obama, and if he doesn't get approval from congress, Russia may decide Obama has gone rogue and move to defend their ally Assad.

You are correct. Barring a UN security council resolution, which won't be happening since Russia has said they will veto, any attack we launch against Syria can be classified as aggressive military action and Russia could be well within international conventions to not only shoot down the missiles/planes carrying them, but to attack the task force launching them, which would definitely get American sailors/airmen killed.
