Now you are talking about my kind of eating. If I want great fried seafood in Baton Rouge, I go to Parrains.  Rather cook gumbo or crawfish etouffe at home. Eating crawdads (we call them baby lobsters) and sucking the heads ain't bad either plus raw oysters. Yum.

I just logged on. The New Orleans Jazz festival has some of the best seafood you will ever eat. My favorite is fried soft shell poboy The catfish poboy is not to shabby either. .

The best one's I've ever eaten were called prawns on Catalina Island.  They were the size of small lobster tails.   :drool:

If you have never tried it, don't knock it. LA has some of the best seafood and cooks. We have not even mentioned alligator and frog legs. Yum.
