A Queensbury mother helped her sex-offender son set up meetings with underage children, the Warren County Sheriff's Office said.

Curtis M. Mallon, 31, of Warrensburg, a registered sex offender, and his mother, Darlene Mallon, 60, were arrested Monday following an investigation into the man's hotel stay with a pair of boys, the sheriff's office said Tuesday.

Mallon was charged with violating his probation and failing to register his social network profile with the sheriff's office — a requirement of his sex offender status. His mother was charged with misdemeanor endangering the welfare of a child.
