That was I.

However, given that communicating via telephone is all but impossible for a deaf person, I'm not sure.

I telephoned the service department (I didn't use their toll-free number, because I wanted to sound local), and got some guy with an accent. I asked to be transferred to the brain-damaged primitive, and he simply commented, "he's not here."

To inquire further would get me all mired down, so I thanked him and hung up.

One may interpret that comment a couple of ways.

It's too late.

Even if the brain-damaged primitive were to suddenly appear and post all over the place, the primitives wouldn't remember who he is, or was.

Too much water's gone past the dam now; lost time can't ever be made up.

Only we here remember who the brain-damaged primitve is, or was.

I remember when the primitives swore they'd never forget the red round one; that their memories of him were seared permanently on their brains, that every day for the rest of their lives, they'd think of him.

Yeah, right. Within two weeks, one was already hearing "Andy.....Andy.....Andy who?"

If the primitives can't remember who the late red round one was, well, why would they remember the brain-damaged primitive?

He's pulled lots of shit like this, or at least has claimed to.
