I'm kind of lonely, wandering around Skins's island, and not seeing the brain-damaged primitive.

I did however find this, from his journal, November 8, 2012:

It's been over ten years here. Been in a lot of fights, some I've started, some not. Have stood up for my Union and my manufacturer every day i've been here. Came close to being rombstoned numerous times. But I watched the end of the domination of the Right from DU and nowhere else.
 
Been without power for 10 days. They are telling us maybe Sunday. Instead of trying to find a place to WATCH the momentous occasion Tuesday night, I tried to post from my car on my netbook driving around looking for a hot spot. Just so I could post here. Today I thought, why. Why did I allow myself to miss the victory we all worked and hoped for. (By the way I said he'd win big months ago, look it up). I'll never get that opportunity again. That pissed me off A LOT. I wanted to be here but I couldn't. 120 minutes on a charge doesn't work well when the election lasts till nearly midnight.
 
DU has changed. I hate the jury system with a passion. I miss our mods, some of the brightest, fairest, hardest working people I've ever known (love you Cbayer & NYCskip). I hate how the gun crowd has permeated DU. I hate how the anti-Union, anti-Buy American crowd has gained a BIG foothold. Hate, a strong word, but what's happening leaves a bad taste in my mouth.
 
I KNOW there have been intruders here who have tried their worst to get elders tombstoned ( they succeeded a couple of times) and I KNOW they tried to disenchant us about the prospects of Obama's reelection. I know they tried to divide us. They ****ing lost, here and in the election.
 
In the days since I've lost power I've spent very little time here. Except for news, I didn't have a need to stick around. That kinda sucks, but we all move on. I am sick, I work where I am not appreciated, and hopefully in three years I can get Medicare and go somewhere else. My eyesight in my remaining eye is weakening, and when I can't drive I lose work. And computers are my life. Along with Chevrolet's.
 
I KNOW there will be a bunch of 'don't let the door hit ya' comments, but I don't give a ****. I survived Bush+ to see Obama become a two-term President, and in the end, I won. I've been here since 2001 actually. But it's break time.

Pension? He can get a few hundred bucks a month from Social Security - he's old enough - and he'll probably get a shyster to pursue disability. He's missing about a quart of brain tissue, so maybe he'll get a little for that. But I doubt he'll ever see a dime from the hyphenated lady who owns Gearhart Chevy or from Government Motors.

I should have added if Gearhart Chevy offers a pension to employees, and he had the time to become vested, then he would get to keep the pension. If they offered no retirement benefits, then Doug Bulna is royally screwed.

I'm still on Dougwatch at the DUmp, and try to remember the last three digits of his high post count to track DB, which right now is at 107.

You wouldn't think a "SYSADMIN" would really require all the social skills of a salesman or even a service rep, but Doug is especially a miserable excuse for a person. Why he thinks that stupid walrus look is attractive is beyond me, but he's laying low for now. I think he *could* be in probation or suspension, but then he's off the website altogether. From here, I think I'll keep checking that, craigslist, and all the other job search sites later on next week to see if they're looking for a DB replacement, and see if his resume is online. But Doug was never on gearhart's FB pages, which makes me think he never interacted with the others. All the other employees are there, but no Doug.

Even if he survived and was told never to post at DU again...DB would find a way to shove it in our faces.

I would never jeopardize a persons job for their political beliefs.  This is just not right.

However when someone brags to the internet about sabotaging their work place, and bad mouths their employer, one wonders what else they are sabotaging for their coworkers or boss.

Kind of dangerous, never know when he can alter contracts of customers or mess with their credit rating.    Before computers everything was on paper, but now darn, one can sign a contract to pay 5% interest and come to find out the paper work is missing and the interest is now 17%.

I do wonder about the owners and managers of this place of business, perhaps they kept him on for years for his ability to do so.

The primitives are preoccupied with Syria, yimmering-yammering and wiggle-waggling their armpits at each other, on a subject about which they know.....nothing.

In all honesty, if the primitives only discussed subjects that they knew even the least little bit about, there would be no posts.
