She was a democrat and she used five different names each time to fill out the absentee ballots. Case for restricting absentee/earlyvoting/mail voting and for strong voter ID laws.
Alan Colmes was on O'reilly claiming there is no such thing as voter fraud, and asking people to have ID to vote is racist.
Colmes explained that North Carolina is limiting the type of ID residents are permitted to show. “They’re addressing a problem that doesn’t exist,†he charged, adding that in some instances people have to drive “hundreds of miles†to obtain a state-issued ID or driver’s license.Colmes said, “I thought conservatives were against making unnecessary laws.â€O’Reilly countered that at any DMV in the state, voter IDs will be given out for free. Colmes maintained that “a lot of people don’t have cars, are poor, don’t have access to a place to go to get those IDs.â€â€œYou are saying, Alan Colmes is saying on the record in front of millions of people, there are folks in North Carolina like Aunt Bee, Opie, who can’t physically get to the Department of Motor Vehicles to get the ID?†O’Reilly pressed.Colmes likened the law to a poll tax and said it is “purposely done to stop Democratic voters, people likely to vote Democratic.â€â€œIf they couldn’t get to the Department of Motor Vehicles, how could they get to the polls?†O’Reilly questioned.Read more: http://foxnewsinsider.com/2013/08/13/bill-oreilly-takes-alan-colmes-over-voter-id-law-north-carolina#ixzz2cboGcZuc
